After 650 total hours of work, it is finally complete! WinStar Christmas has arrived, and dazzling lights, trees and greenery are around every corner.
The decorating team from Calvert’s used half a mile of garland (2,640 feet!), and the total height of the Christmas trees (if you stacked them one on top of the other) is more than 15 stories! The Calvert’s team members aren’t strangers to extravagant Christmas décor. They also transform The Artesian Hotel in Sulphur for their annual Classic Christmas celebration. They are the yuletide experts!
From the moment you drive into the parking lot, there is no doubt which season it is; the iconic WinStar Globe cheerfully flashes red and green. The casino floor is home to 15 trees, including a 22-foot-tall tree flanked by golden reindeer outside the Rome Gaming Plaza. Each of the Christmas trees sparkle with their own unique theme. The hotel, convention center and the Global Event Center are also decorated with a plethora of trees, garlands and wreaths. WinStar is the perfect winter wonderland to escape from the hubbub of the busy holiday season.
