WinStar Casino Hosts Give Thanks

Our amazing casino hosts work tirelessly to offer the perfect WinStar experience every time you visit. They are on call 24/7 to accommodate your needs, they plan every detail of your trips and they host special VIP events. You can read more about what they do and becoming a VIP in this blog post. We are thankful for their selflessness and dedication to making WinStar a wonderful place to be!

What about your job are you most thankful for?

Evelyn Nobles: I have been with WinStar for about 8 ½ years. WinStar has provided me many opportunities to grow and become a better person.  There is not just one thing I am thankful for but I can say my guests are the best in the casino (in my opinion) and I have co-workers that challenge my thinking and help me continue to become a better person.

Donna Curtis: A professional workplace with stability and genuine goal to take great care of patrons and employees.

What is your favorite memory with one of your patrons?

Gary Price: I have so many, but the one that stands out was when one of my patrons won third place in our big July 4th Explosions tournament. She was so excited because it was the first tournament that she had ever won.

Bri Rocha: I have many memories with some of my patrons, however my favorite would be getting to meet my patrons’ families and friends.

Connie Jones: One year, I put on a private VIP event with about 20 of my assigned guests. I remember having a conversation with a woman close to 70 years old and she was telling me how she met her husband. I remember feeling humbled that she would share that story with me. The patron smiled and for that instant let me get a glimpse into her past and the deep love she felt for her husband. Getting to know each patron is a special moment. To enhance their experience while at WinStar World Casino and Resort makes being a casino host worthwhile.

What’s the most meaningful part of being a casino host?

Ashley Baker: For me, it’s making the personal connections. You end up knowing all about their grandchildren and extended family. They share about health issues they might be facing. They feel like they can open up to you and tell you just about anything. Sometimes they just want someone to take the time to listen to them.

Maria Mendoza: The most important thing about being a host is that we give our patrons the best customer service and a great experience while they are at WinStar World Casino and Resort. It means so much when they smile at me and tell me that I am nice and doing a good job!

Jessie Noland: Fulfilling the wishes of the patrons and seeing their smiles.

Reneé Haley: Getting to meet new people and the relationships we develop with our guests.

What would you like to thank WinStar patrons for?

Autumn Shelton: WinStar patrons, I would like to thank you for choosing WinStar as your resort destination. Thank you for traveling from near and far to visit. Thank you for coming out to the concerts, slot tournaments, VIP Golf Tournaments and so many more events we hold throughout the year.

Josie Donelson: I would like to thank my patrons for being so thoughtful and sweet! It really makes my day to come in and visit with them. You get to know everyone on a personal level and you cry, laugh and celebrate with them. Not many jobs allow you to build relationships and book people for all the wonderful events that the casino hosts for them!

From the entire staff at WinStar World Casino and Resort, we are so thankful for all of our guests. We wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving!
