Hello, everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We sure did here at WinStar! It was busy, full of excitement and love. I say love because I couldn’t help but notice the amount of couples there were in the casino. This made me think of all the possibilities there are here for a date night! So, this week’s blog is about the perfect date night! Listen carefully, gentlemen- there are some good tidbits in here.
A side note before we start: a date night here can be any night. We, of course, have more to do on the weekends, entertainment wise, but any night will work just fine. Your date night can be a day trip or it can be an overnight stay, in which case you will need to make sure to book a hotel room at the WinStar World Casino Hotel. You know, Pool Tower South is scheduled to open May 1st! Upon arrival, it’s always a good idea to start off with food. If you are interested in an intimate, personal setting (this is a date after all), we have Capisce Restaurante Italiano or The Grill, which are perfect for that. If those do not interest you, we do have more restaurant options than just those two.
After eating, it’s nice to relax, and what better way to relax than with a massage! This can be something you both indulge in, in fact, that’s what I would suggest. A relaxed couple is a happy couple! Spa Habitat is located inside the WinStar World Casino Hotel. Services range from back massages to mud wraps and facials. The agenda after the massage really depends on how you’re feeling. If you’re a little too relaxed, a nap is a good possibility. Our gift shops are also a great choice. You can buy your special someone a Versace watch or even Pandora jewelry. Our gift shops also have Bedré Fine Chocolate, which is an excellent way to treat yourself and your loved one. If you want the fun to continue, we have plenty of bars located throughout the casino!
Now, a perfect date night would include a concert (my ultimate choice would be the John Mellencamp concert coming up).
Of course your date nights don’t have to be as extravagant as this one. Playing games, enjoying a band at Palladium Sports Lounge or Skyline Lounge and grabbing dinner sounds pretty good, too. If you are the adventurous, outdoor kind, we do have a golf course that was named one of Golfweek’s 2014 Best Course You Can Play and Best Golf Course in Chickasaw Country. If you are an avid golfer, but your date isn’t, this would be an awesome opportunity to share a little of your knowledge. If you both haven’t tried it before, it’s fun to learn something new together! Whatever you decide to do, I hope that it’s memorable and is something that can become a regular occurrence.
