You may have noticed the ongoing construction around WinStar World Casino and Resort. Recently, steel beams went up for what will someday be the brand-new WinStar Convention Center. Once built, this top-notch facility will be used for a variety of functions.
Previously, all of our large events have taken place in the Global Event Center, located in the Rome Gaming Plaza. Once the new Convention Center opens, that area will be freed up for more entertainment.
Let’s check out the WinStar Convention Center by the numbers:
- 23,000 sq. ft. of function space
- 15,000 sq. ft. Grand Ballroom
- 12,500 sq. ft. kitchen (whoa, that’s a big kitchen!)
- 3 boardrooms
- 1 Junior Ballroom
In total, the WinStar Convention Center measures in at a whopping 65,000 sq. ft. of first-class accommodations for events, conventions, trainings and more.
Construction is expected to be complete in 2016, so stay tuned for more updates on this fantastic new addition to WinStar.
