Last weekend I drove up to meet my mom for a day at The Spa at WinStar! It was the perfect Sunday for a little girl time. She lives in Tulsa, and as you know, I live in Dallas, so meeting up at WinStar was the ideal distance for both of us.
We arrived around 9:30 a.m., and drank tea and chatted for a while in the spa’s waiting area. (It’s so cute and relaxing!) Mom and I joked that we were cheating on our spas back home in Dallas and Tulsa. We love the ladies at our normal spas, but we quickly got over it. As we walked through the spa, we were blown away! The Spa at WinStar looks like the spas I have visited at resorts and have seen on TV. I am no spa expert by any means, but it is super luxe.
Before we visited, I looked at the spa menu and had no clue what I was doing. I am comfortable with my regular ol’ 50-minute, basic massage at the spa in my neighborhood. The Spa at WinStar offers an assortment of massage, facial and waxing services, among others. I’m certain many of you can empathize with my feelings from being overwhelmed by the options, so I just called The Spa at WinStar and asked for guidance. They were incredibly helpful and scheduled the perfect day for us!
If you are visiting with a friend (or your mom) you should book the couples package. I know it sounds weird, but trust me; it was great! We started our morning with massages, then facials and ended the visit with a foot soak. I know they call it a foot soak, but the name does not do it justice. This definitely sounds silly, but it was like walking on clouds. My feet have never, ever felt better. At this point, I might as well quit my job in real estate and become a spa spokeswoman! (Just kidding… kind of.)
It was such a great day with my mom and I am looking forward to visiting again. I’d love to hear if you’ve visited and what services you recommend for my next trip. Share with me on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram (@WinStar_World).
